Important Announcement Regarding Fluorescent Lamps

Binks Industries has been providing Pinhole Detectors for many different industries for over 50 years, and we are continually improving our designs and providing upgrades. In early 2018, without warning, the fluorescent lamps used in our detectors were discontinued by all major lamp manufacturers. There is no commercially available substitute or replacement for these lamps, and we would encourage you to try and locate the lamps locally.

Binks has developed an LED Light Source that replaces the fluorescent lamps, and all new Binks Pinhole Detectors built use the LED system. The LED Light Source is brighter, more stable, uses less power, increases the sensitivity of the detector, and has an extremely long life. The LED Light Source is currently available for the Model 8411 Pinhole Detector, and designs are in progress for other Binks Pinhole Detector Models.

Please include the serial number of the detector to be upgraded so that we can prepare the quote correctly.
