Binks Model 8411
The Model 8411 is the latest Binks single channel Pinhole Detector design.
It incorporates all of the design enhancements that Binks has made to date,
including modular design, easily replaceable critical components, Phototube
protection circuits, more sensitive and selective detection circuits, and
is easy to interface to any equipment.
The newly designed LED Light Source will provide years of operation without a
decrease in light output or replacing any parts. It uses less power than fluorescent
lamps, and increases the sensitivity of the detector. The increased sensitivity means
the Dynode voltage can be reduced, which extends the life of the Phototube.
The 8411 is built with a lighter guage steel, and is intended for lower speed
applications with lighter materials.
